Foster Care Case Manager

To provide case management services for TBCH’s Foster Care program including the recruitment, training, and approval of foster homes in conjunction with the Regional Foster Care Supervisor. The FCCM will also provide supervision of foster homes and provide case management for foster children.

What is a House Parent?

TBCH provides care for children in a family setting. The backbone of this care is house parents who are committed to each other and to the care of children in crisis. Here are a few requirements for those who might consider serving with us:

  1. Married Couples who are committed followers of Jesus Christ
  2. Active members of a local Southern Baptist or Evangelical Church
  3. Share a sense of call to serve children who come from difficult places in life
  4. At least 25 years of age and married for at least 2 years
  5. Caring for two or fewer children of their own still in the home


Cottage life can sometimes be challenging. However, those who successfully serve with us are expected to assume the following responsibilities:

  • Model your faith to others
  • Team player
  • Listening and supportive
  • Provide for physical needs
  • Positive attitude toward educational needs and accomplishments
  • Be proactive in areas of discipline
  • Provide a clean and safe environment in the home
  • Promote the development of social skills
